Healing happens through connection

Welcome

House of Healing was born from a simple truth: healing begins at home.

During her time in college, Nonie was trying to figure out the impact she wanted to make in the world. During this quest for knowledge and self reflection, she felt a profound calling to “Defend the Family”. This calling led to an understanding that family is where we are shaped; where both love and pain leave their mark. Where our deepest wounds are often inflicted, but where we find the deepest healing as well.

House of Healing exists to help people come home - to themselves, to their truth, to a place of understanding and peace. With compassion and curiosity, we create space to explore, release, and reconnect. Healing is not just personal; it ripples outward; touching families, communities, and generations to come.

We believe that when one person grows into who they’re meant to be, they inspire those around them to do the same. And together, we come home.

Nonie provides a safe environment to work through difficult emotions.

I have been to 8 different therapists over the years. I have never felt the trust I have in her. I don't always like what I hear. But I have learned that being humble is a huge step in my healing. She doesn't just talk to you she listens and guides. She's not afraid to tell you what you need.

AS

I have more confidence in myself. I feel like I am finally putting myself first instead of everyone else and am able to speak up about things when I couldn't before.

EB

I'm learning to confront my own thoughts and look at things more positively rather than constantly being negative, it's definitely taking some work on my part but its bettering my overall self.

I came to Nonie feeling suicidal for months. I had been on medication for years to try to deal with it. After 3 months of working with Nonie I completely went off my medications, and have not felt any ounce of depression or suicidal ideation since. The work we did together was the most effective thing I have ever done for my life and I am immensely grateful for it.

I went through the hardest year of my life when my wife divorced me. Nonie remained a consistent support to me each week in therapy. The times I was so ashamed I could hardly bare it, she welcomed me and provided the softest environment for me to heal. I have gotten through those times with her help and I have changed more in the past year than I ever have in my life thanks to her.
